A Sidekick for Batman

My readers seem to think I need a partner of sorts. Fan feedback reports that my blogsters would be better served if my intellectual approach was comple-mented with a charming sidekick. The idea is that I would be… like a superhero. – Batman, for example.

I can see me now: cape across my back, mask across my eyes – jumping buildings in a single bound. Truthfully though, I like being the only contributor to the dog blog. If I need companionship, I nuzzle up to my foster mom Jet or invite the neighbor dogs over for some downtime. I don’t need a sidekick.

I discussed the situation with Jet. She thinks a little color commentary from a younger pal with a more cavalier perspective might be good for the blog and for me. Clearly she’s been thinking about this because she already had someone in mind to join me. His name is Nokona. (See his annoyingly cute photo below.)

He’s a half-breed rescue but all in all, he’s pretty easy on the eye for a little guy.

Okay, here’s the question of the day from Juno who asked: We recently moved from Nevada to Texas. It’s hot in both places. I just have to adjust to two things: humidity (it makes my coat wilt) and HUGE thunderstorms. We have snow in Nevada; Texas does storms. They scare me crazy. Can you help?

Dear Juno:
Don’t sweat it sweetie. There’s a sensational new product called Thunder Shirts. Lucky, my pal next door, wears one. He’s not keen on Texas storms either. In fact, he takes a special happy pill when storms come in but Jet says he just needs a nice glass of wine. (I think she’s just joking.) In any case, you and your parents can view (and buy) the coats at this link: http://www.thundershirt.com/
